Performance As an Instructional Tool
Try to imagine a science class
Where you act like molecules
Bouncing around off each other
Where taking risks is the rule.
Or maybe a world history class
Where you write and direct a play
Doing research on historic figures
And the speeches that they made.
Or maybe you’d have a math class
Where you can paint a proof
Look it’s not all fun and games
This school would be no spoof
Wouldn’t that be cool?
Performance is the tool.
